Wedding FAQs

We are interested in booking you for our wedding. Can you send us more information?
All of my packages and prices are available online and I have tried to put together enough information for you on my website. There is also an online Wedding Brochure, that you may have already seen. The best thing to do now, would be for us to talk on the phone or meet for an informal chat.

Will you take a mixture of formal and informal photographs?
Yes, I tend to take a variety of posed shots and more informal, reportage style shots. Some of my posed images are set up to appear unposed, but I always talk to you to get a full understanding of what you hope for and I tailor my approach to suit you.

Are the high resolution digital images included?
Yes, these are included in all of my packages. You will have them in high-res format (large files that can be enlarged or cropped) and a print-ready format (sized ready for standard small print).

What albums do you offer?
I work with a leading UK professional photographic printer for all of my albums, keepsakes and thankyou cards. While you are not tied to ordering these from me (because you will have the digital images to use as you wish), if you would like professionally designed and printed albums, then I would be happy to arrange these for you. Are you insured?
Yes. I have full insurance including public liability insurance.

What equipment do you use?
I use professional Canon cameras and a variety of pro series lenses. I have backups for all of my equipment with me on the day.

How does the free engagement shoot work?
I offer couples the chance to "try before you book". So, you book and pay for an engagement shoot and if you like working with me and then book me for your wedding, the price of the engagement shoot is taken off of the amount owed.

What about payment?
I take a retainer of £200, which secures your booking date, with the remainder being payable one month before your wedding.

What happens if you can't get to our wedding for some reason?
There are few excuses for not being able to make a wedding. If this ever happens (and it never has yet), then I have a network of photographers who I know and trust, and I will do my very best to find you a replacement that you are happy with.

What about food on the day?
If I am with you all day, I will take a break while you are sitting down for dinner. If you are happy to arrange food for me at the venue, that would be great.
