About Me

I think it's nice to know a little bit about who you are dealing with, especially when that someone will be taking photographs of your family.... so here's a bit about me.

Photography is my second career and I consider myself one of those very lucky people who loves their work. Before becoming a portrait photographer, I spent 10 years following a business consulting career. I dreamt about following my passion for photography for many years, so when I took a break from the corporate world, it seemed like an ideal time to see whether I could make a new career for myself. I started working as a studio photographer at a high street studio in Surrey. Though it was great experience initially, the fixed shooting style soon became repetitive and I wanted more variety to offer my customers and to continually stretch my skills. I wanted to offer services such as baby photography at home, contemporary wedding photography and relaxed outdoor family photo shoots in natural surroundings. So, I set up Victoria B Photography in 2009.

I am based in Kingston Upon Thames and work mainly across Surrey, though I am happy to travel further too. If you like the white background "studio style" of photography, then I can bring that to you or if you prefer a more natural setting such as your garden or the local park, I can do that too.

I enjoy the variety of work and whether I am photographing a mum and baby at home or a big wedding party, I always put in as much energy and effort as I can - to make sure that I create some beautiful images.
